For people with motor neurone disease, their family and friends.

Living Well with MND is a one-day program providing a range of strategies to live well with MND and to maintain independence. It also provides the opportunity for you to have your questions answered by a range of health professionals with expertise in MND, and to meet others who understand what it is like to live with MND.

Although there is currently no cure for motor neurone disease, a great deal can be done to maintain quality of life and to address many of the effects of MND.

"Attending the MND living well with MND day was a valuable experience for us both. It was great to meet others in similar situations. We learnt a lot and were quite surprised to enjoy ourselves as much as we did! We now feel much more aware of our choices and what we can do to make life easier." (Former program participant.)

You will also learn more about the roles of various health workers such as the occupational therapist, physiotherapist and speech pathologist and about the services offered by MND NSW.

Living well with MND is held in various locations including metropolitan Sydney and regional locations of New South Wales or the Australian Capital Territory.
