Art Space

Art is a process of learning to create ourselves and experience the world in new ways. Art opens the heart and mind to possibilities and fuels the imagination. Creating art can take your mind off life’s many stresses. It clears some headspace and allows one to focus on the good in life. Art Space is a creative space for carers to come together, inspire each other, learn new things, and connect through art.

Read-Aloud Book Club

Read-aloud Book Club is a space where carers come together and take turns in reading a collection of short stories, prose, and poems to one another around a specific theme. There is no set reading between sessions, freeing carers up from the pressures of 'having to read' passages before the meeting.

“It encourages reading for enjoyment. It inspires community, camaraderie, and excitement. It creates a shared experience, revels in fandoms and series, makes reading a true event.”  (Katrina R. Pollitt)
